UN DAY: Day of Social Justice

The United Nations has designated 2021 as the International Year of Peace and Trust.

In 2009, the United Nations General Assembly designated February 20 as the World Day of Social Justice. This is a day intended to recognize the need to promote efforts to tackle issues such as poverty, exclusion, and unemployment. 

Unfortunately, all three of these issues exist in our community of Richardson.  Due to the pandemic, the past year has highlighted and exacerbated them as never before.  Take a moment to think how you might be able to make an impact in one of these areas.  Remember, many small acts by individuals can change the world in monumental ways.
