Friends Place Adult Day Care is preparing to celebrate and honor mothers with their annual Mothers' Day Tea. A special luncheon and tea is planned for their clients and families. Altrusa Richardson is important to the success of this special event. We will need volunteers to cover three shifts.
The first shift, at 10:00 am, is to help set up the dining hall and meeting room with tables with table covers, dishware, silverware and teacups and saucers. Second shift at 12:00 pm is during the luncheon, to assist clients and families to their tables, help clients select a tea flavor, pour hot water and, when lunch is over, select a desert. The third shift at 1:30 pm will help clean up and put away tea cups and saucers.
The Mothers Day Tea and Luncheon is a very special event and gives us a chance to thank Friends Place for all they do for us.
