**CANCELLED ** Days for Girls District Workdays

*MEETING CANCELLED** Based on the CDC's guidance and recommendations to cancel, postpone and/or modify group events in order to promote social distancing, Altrusa is following these recommendations for the health and safety of our members and canceling all in-person activities March 13 thru April 30, 2020.   Some events, when possible, maybe transitioned to an online / remotely attended meeting... Stay tuned! 

Altrusa District Nine has planned Days for Girls North Texas Workdays to help prepare for the Days for Girls Service Project at District Conference.   Our goal is to assemble 400 kits and to prepare for this Altrusa Clubs all over Texas are meeting to help sew drawstring bags, transport bags, shields and liners.   There are tasks that do not require sewing skills- like cutting, pressing, putting in snaps, or threading ribbons in bags.

All Work Sessions will be held at Friends Place at 1960 Nantucket Dr. Richardson, Tx.

As Richardson is the host club for this event we are asking our members to bring items to serve a light lunch, so please indicate what you can bring.

The first workday will be January 18^th @ 9 A.M. to 1 P.M.

The second workday will be February 15th @ 10 A.M. to 2 P.M.

The third workday will be March 21^st @ 10 A.M. to 2 P.M.

During KAN Saturday on April 4^th , we will finish preparing all items.
