OUTREACH: Interfaith Alliance "Creating for the Needy"

Calling all Knitters and Crocheters and Sewers

This event "Creating for the Needy" is sponsored by the Richardson Interfaith Alliance and is in connection with the Compassion Games:

• Items can be knitted, crocheted, sewn, or created in any way that produces a warm item.
• Hat and Scarves are to be made in the adult, teen, children and infant sizes.
• The project goal is to collect 200 sets (a hat and scarf).
• Items will be donated to groups helping the homeless or needy in the DFW area.
• Donations are accepted Sept 1-15 (9a-5p) at The Dialogue Institute (1416 E Collins Blvd., Richardson, Tx).  Look for boxes in the lobby to drop off your created items and help keep those warm this winter.
