Senior Network Holiday Luncheon

There are so many seniors out in the community that don't have someone to celebrate the holidays with.  Jane Kovacs (who you all know from Friends Place) has asked us to provide a lunch for approximately 80 seniors.  Community Outreach has taken this request on.

Rosemary Gouger is our Executive Chef and leader on this project.  But she has done more than plan a menu and itinerary for the meal - she has secured a donation of 80 chicken breasts from Heirch's Meats.  Ginger Tonne has secured a donation of peach cobbler for 80 from Peach Cobbler Factory, Richardson.  Another blessing. 

We now need your help.  We need 15 women to help prepare this luncheon, set up, and clean up.  Rosemary will prepare a timeline (starting at 9:30 a.m.) and assignment sheets.  You know how organized Rosemary is!!!!!  If you have an apron, please bring it.

Jane Kovacs indicated a Christmas Choral group will be there to provide entertainment.

This is a special time for these seniors and in some cases, this is the only meal they will get that day.  Won't you consider helping us make this a special day for them.
